Newborn sessions are easier with an extra set of hands.
Newborn sessions can be beautiful, rewarding, and a lot to manage on your own. Whether you need someone there to soothe baby, spot during poses, help keep your session moving, or guide you as you grow your newborn photography skills, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.
As a posed newborn photographer, I offer hands-on support designed to make your sessions feel calmer, safer, and a little less overwhelming—without taking over your session or your vision.
Photographer Services Pricing
Hourly assistant services do not require a retainer, with payment due the day of your session. For private newborn mentorships, a $75 retainer is due at booking to reserve your date and is applied toward the $500 total. The remaining balance is due the day of your mentorship.

YOUR MENTORSHIP. YOUR GOALS.
Let's focus on what YOU want to learn.
Your mentorship isn’t a one-size-fits-all class. Before we meet, I’ll learn more about where you are in your newborn photography journey and what you’d like to work on.
Want to spend three hours wrapping? Let’s wrap. Struggling with a specific pose? We’ll work through it. Want to focus on soothing, transitions, session flow, or simply watch how I approach a newborn session? We can do that too.
This time is yours—and we’ll build it around what will be most helpful to you.
The work behind what I teach.
From wrapping and soothing to posed setups, props, transitions, and family portraits, these are the skills I’ve developed through hands-on newborn photography—and the experience I bring into every session and mentorship.
Working Together
1. Tell me what you're looking for
Whether you're booking me as an extra set of hands, a posing partner, or for a private mentorship, you'll start by telling me a little about yourself, your session, and the kind of support you're looking for.
2. We make a plan
For assistant services, we'll go over your session details and what you'd like my role to look like. For mentorships, I'll use your questionnaire to build our time around exactly what you want to learn.
3. We get to work
On the day of your session or mentorship, I'll show up ready to jump in. Whether I'm soothing baby, helping you pose, or teaching alongside you, the goal is simple: make your newborn photography experience a little easier.
Having Emma as my newborn assistant has been one of the most meaningful additions to my photography business.
Knowing I have someone beside me who I completely trust with the baby allows me to focus on my clients and on creating the beautiful images they came to me for.
She has made my job easier, but more importantly, she has helped make my clients’ experiences better.

You bring your camera and your vision. I’ll meet you wherever you need the extra support.
